Help for a Homeless Woman Eating for Diabetes

I'm needing to ask for help when i cannot help myself and when the available help is not reaching its own desired effect. Staying in shelters that are not equipped to feed meals, let alone any healthy ones as most think piling on the carbs to get people fed is the most effective approach. For me this is dangerous to my health in leaps and bounds.

These funds are to help me to eat more regularly as i am on a new medicine for my diabetes after my State Sooner Care Medicaid insurance has been cut off since June 2023 due to being over income by less than $100. I was without my Ozempic shot for approximately 3.5 weeks before I was able to get the new shot im on through a program for people in my circumstance. My digestive system has been all out of whack and I am facing several days throughout the month where I am unable to feed myself as I no longer have my job since March 2023. And now i dont qualify for any food stamps for the same reason as the insurance issue.

I typically eat very healthy. And im having to choose from you guessed it, restaurants instead of being able to cook for myself as I am Homeless without access to the fridge to store food only my diabetic shots. My overall emotional state is very tried. I can barely feel like im getting anything done or being the most productive i can be because when i leave the shelter to take care of business im having to choose to go without making it to a place they serve food for the homeless even if its unhealthy or miss out on conducting business.

I really appreciate anyone that makes the decision to give of themselves to support my current needs for assistance with this at this time. The amount listed is what i reckon a monthly amount for 1 person 3 times a day at the least including snacks in between time and possible Doordash/Uber fees to get the food in a crunch if i cant get to food places in time taking the bus because mentally i check out and have trouble thinking and processing and i got turned around yesterday in circles in the Hospital visiting a homeless acquaintance who offered to feed me but i just could not accept.

Its not east for me to ask for help, but i dont want to face the harsh reality of the circumstances not eating on time and being in this heat is placing on my wellbeing like it did yesterday. I have to ask for help, and I have to ask for help from those who have it to give as i dont want to put anyone in a bind. Please if you have a kind heart like me and want to help everyone and dont have the means to do so please dont donate more than a $1, i appreciate you too and every $1 I know there was a kind soul on the other side that wish they could do more.
