Help Find My Son Paul

Thanks for taking a moment to read this plea. Whiile my given name is Craig William Anderson, I am a writer and author and use the pen name Will Hart and go by my middle name. I say this so that there is no confusion and so you can check my credibility and credentials by going to Amazon.com and searching Will Hart or the Genesis Race. (I am offering a health book I have written to people who donate to this cause)

While I am an American I have a Swedish background and I lived in Sweden years ago. I fell in love with a Swedish girl and we had a son. I subsequently moved back to the U.S. We kept in touch for years but lost contact in recent years. I have not seen my son, Paul in many years. I always thought I would find the money and time to take a trip to Sweden to visit him.

But something happened and I do not know what exactly. In recent years, I contracted diabetes and related diseases. When this happened I felt I needed to contact him and warn him about certain inherited genetic conditions that I now know run in ou family. He needs to know these things in order to possibly prevent future problems. I did not get diabetes until I was in my forties.

But I got a real shock, a series of them really. I could not find him. Part of the problem is that we have the most common Swedish surname, Anderson, so that is like finding someone named Smith in America. After trying everything I could think of including contacting the mass media there, I wrote to the government agency that keeps all the records. They replied that they could not find any record of him.

That really hit me hard. I suffer from chronic depression and this triggered a severe bout. I just discovered crowdfunding and thought this might be a way to raise enough money to fly to Stockholm. I still speak Swedish and once there I think I could enlist the aid of the mass media in person, especially given the type of story that this is. He deserves to know that his father still cares about him and that he is prone to contract diabetes and depression as he ages.

Unfortunately, I do not have the funds to made this happen and I have exhausted the avenues of approach that I could think of. Ironically, his mother has the same last name and very common female, Swedish first name, Eva. I hope you can help as I sure do not want to give up hope. I am still stunned by the fact that he may not be in Sweden because I have no idea of where he might be if that is true. But the only way to find out the truth is to present myself and show that I am 100% serious about locating his whereabouts. Thank you for your time and consideration.    

A round trip ticket to Stockholm from LA is $1500. My plan is contact radio and TV stations there and ask for help at least on a one time basis. In addition, I would hire some kind of detective service that knows the ropes in Sweden on very shot term basis. One advantage is that Sweden is small country with a population less than New York city.
