The boat "The Nina" has been missing at sea for several weeks, with 7 people aboard, including 19 year old Danielle Wight and 73 year old Evi Nemeth, who has been a personal inspiration to me.
Private search efforts continued and last Sunday, a crowd-sourced search of 56,000 satellite pictures appeared to find an orange/yellow object to the west of Norfolk island, which may be the Nina life-raft.
The families have recruited Kiwi Air to launch a private search for the liferaft however they have now exhausted their funding. The sea has returned to Norfolk Island awaiting more money. It costs $2700 to keep the plane in the air for one hour.
PLEASE MY FRIENDS, BETWEEN US, CAN WE RAISE $2700 FOR ONE MORE HOUR'S WORTH OF SEARCHING? If it was me on that liferaft, or my daughter, I know I'd want my friends to do everything they could to find me.
