Help Fight Leukemia with Our Dad.

As of 13 Feb 2021: Dad is in critical condition. Doctors have confirmed that he caught 3 new infections, including fungus in his blood. No amount of antibiotics/anti-fungal are able to kill the bacterias as they have evolved and are resistant to the drugs. Doctors are trying to do their best but there is not much they can do without inflicting more pain. Dad’s survival instinct has been going on strong so far but he is in too much pain. It will be a medical decision to choose not to resuscitate if his body collapsed. We have been mentally prepared as it may happen anytime. Please keep him in your prayers and may you be rewarded for your kindness. As a chinese-muslim, i pray that may the Almighty Allah SWT ease his pain and suffering during this trying period. As of 8 Feb 2021: Dad is still in ICU.
Doctor has confirmed that his cancer cells have mutated and it has already spread to his lungs causing bleeding. His organs are showing signs that the previous bone marrow may be rejecting his body. 😔 Please continue your prayers. We really need a miracle.

Hi Potential Donor,

This is the story of our Dad. He is and has always been the sole breadwinner of the family. Until near end of 2015, when Leukemia hit us hard, not as hard as he did. It was nothing anybody would have expected. He eats healthier than anyone of us, he keeps a healthy lifestyle. But nobody would have known. We struggled to pay for his medical fees as our Dad did not have any insurance at that time. After countless scams in his earlier days, he decided to drop all the policies he paid so much for. Its our fault as children who never consider for our parents that insurances are as important even if you believe or they believe they are as strong as an ox. He managed to find a compatible donor and our Mom and Sister paid for the medical expenses with their life-savings. I was studying back then therefore I am unable to help much which really sucks. Everything went smoothly even though we struggled to pay for his expenses. Day by day our Mom stays beside him, fighting strong. He managed to get his health back together and within a year, our Dad went back to work in his field again. Stubborn like an ox, he refused to give up on his business.

Fast forward to the 5th year from staying cancer-free. In Dec 2020, Our Dad started losing weight again. On the 16th, he got admitted into the hospital. While the whole world fights against Corona Virus, we are here fighting for our Dad’s health to get better. Due to past occurrence, he is not eligible for any insurance. We need all the help we can get. Any amount will do. We are all mentally drained. Our Dad is still fighting strong, but his condition is unstable. He is currently unconscious and his lungs are heavily infected. I dont ask for a lot, even a dollar is fine. Please help us :’(

His job requires a lot of contact with spray painting as he owns a spray painting workshop in the east of Singapore. He has been in the line of business since before we were all born. Some said those tiny particles are the cause to his illness. Due to being self-employed and a Singapore Permanent Resident (PR), my Dad was not entitled for any benefits under Covid Support. There were a lot of setbacks but that doesn’t stop our Dad from moving forward. He is and will always be Our Hero.
