Help feed the stray cats of the Blue City in Morocco

The cats of Chefchaouen need your help. I'm a 28-year-old unemployed girl who's looking after these little angels by giving them Food, medicine, shelter and love. Every animal deserves a safe place and enough food to thrive.

I have been looking after and feeding these cats for over 4 years. The situation here in Chefchaouen is dire with no restaurants open, therefore many cats were being fed scraps from them. There are so many homeless cats and spay and neuter is very rare in Morocco. In the future it’s our dream to hopefully set up a clinic to do so. There are litters of kittens being born and dumped every day. Many kittens suffer from malnourishment and The feline herpes virus which makes their eyes crusty and no one wipes them. I’m one of only a few people in this city of 50,000 that is caring for these strays. There is no kitten food available so I make it myself by pureeing bologna, bread and milk. This is all I have to feed these sweet innocent creatures. I’m hoping to raise money to help me feed them and eventually provide better shelter for them in the near future. Right now I use cardboard boxes covered in plastic but this doesn’t last.
