Help Feed the Elderly, and Sick

At present, we are trying to raise funds to start a ministry to help people in need in our county.  Our first goal is to start a weekend meal program to fill in the gap from Friday to Monday that other services do not cover.  There are a lot of elderly, sick, and shut-ins that depend on services like Meals on Wheels for their food.  For some of these people, meals provided by these services is the only food they get.  For many of these people, from lunch on Friday to lunch on Monday they do not eat. 

From my unique experience of being a Certified Nursing Assistant prior to being a Minister, I have witnessed first hand that undernourishment is one of the leading reasons why many of our elderlies' health declines at such a rapid rate.  We see the need to help fill in the gap, but we cannot do this without the support of the community.  To start and maintain this program will take generous donations from people like you.   As God allows us the finances, we hope to expand our ministry's meal program to provide meals to these people that can't get help from other services, due to these services being filled to capacity during the week.
