hello i am running this campaign to help feed the strays dog and cats on big corn island. we have a free vet clinc that comes here to help the locals take care of there pets like spay an neuter and med for the animals but this doesnt help any stray dogs or cats..
i have lived here for almost 2 years with no income as the mayor will not give me a permit to do business. i have tried several times. even with no income i can not watch these poor dogs that walk the streets that are just skin and bones. i have been feeding random strays that are in desperate need.but there are so many, i cant help them all with no income. I'am asking for your help to buy food to feed the poor stray dogs and cats of this island. a 55lb of dog food here is about $28 to $30dollars. there are so many that need our help. please help me to help them. if donation go well i will also look into our local vet for meds and spay and neuter of the stray dogs to help with the stray population.

Update posted by satin Griffith at 04:08 pmgood morning, happy friday everyone. everyday we go out and help strays and street dogs in need. we are feeding over 100 dogs a day. we also provide medicine to Strays in need. it generally takes 3 hours to go around feeding the strays. We also help a few familys. . . . .

Update posted by satin Griffith at 03:58 pmso many beautiful dogs and puppies need your help. every month im getting more and more puppies and dogs to care for . our fundraiser is running low on funds again. it is costing about 180 dollars a month to keep them fed. for all the puppies it is just. . . . .

every dog life matters
Update posted by satin Griffith at 01:16 amits been hot here on the island. please make sure you have fresh water out for your dogs. so sadly yesterdays appointment for the 1 stray didn't happen as someone had been giving her antibiotics. so we have to wait 15 days before we can take her to get the. . . . .

Update posted by satin Griffith at 01:14 amgood morning everyone. i went from feeding 25 to 30 stray/street dogs to even more now . i have lots of locals asking me for help to feed there dogs too. over the weekend i adopted a pup frpm off the streets .she now has 5 other dogs to play. . . . .

Thanks Satin for all you are doing to help these dogs. I have never been to Corn Island but have traveled to Cuba and the dogs there are in the same malnourished state. Its heartbreaking. Hope this somewhat helps with your cause. You have such a caring heart ❤

Thank you for helping these dogs. We have been to Corn Island a lot and have seen them for ourselves... it’s so sad that so many are without adequate food and care. We rescued one to give her a good home and we are happy to donate to this much-needed cause.

I visited the corn Islands 4 years ago and it totally broke my heart. I actually rescued a stray from ometepe and brought him home to California so I have a huge soft spot for this kind of work. Keep it up!
