It’s about this time of year again when most of us are thinking about Christmas plans with the family, thinking about which gifts to get for our love ones like new toys for the children and so on...

This time last year I had the opportunity to raise $500 for a 12 years old girl who didn’t have a proper home, raped, raising her younger brother while her mother was on her last breath. Thank you once again to each and every donor who helped her with a few months of food and some money to bury her mother.

Yesterday I came across an old friend’s post pledging to raise money to feed 50 children for her small nonprofit organization called KaisKids. I asked her how I could help, and she said "Anything'! As of now, the very basic needs such as food and hygiene products aren’t met, causing further health problems to many children (in addition to illnesses that they are currently fighting for medicines).

I’ve known this organization for years prior to my depart for the States. Kaiskids is a local nonprofit organization that house local underprivileged/abandoned children through local social services, hospital, village and commune chiefs, after all other avenues have failed. These children include infants stating from just a day old, to maturing teens, children who have been abused, abandoned, ones who came from broken homes, special needs children, children with illness, and those who have lost one or both parents.

My Ask:

The organization needs $350 per month in rice to feed the children.

I am a little ambitious and hope to raise a minimum of one and a half months’ worth of rice, total of $525 by December 1st (That’s when I depart for Cambodia).

Once again, anything helps! Please contribute what you can so that those kids can eat!

If you are unable to donate, please help share this page so others can see.

Thank you in advance for your kindness!
