We understand that these are difficult times: however we all know the importance of not feeling alone during times of great difficulties. For many life has been unexpectedly turned upside down while others have largely been affected by restrictions put in place due to the current Corana outbreak, they are left without an immediate income to assist with all the financial hardships they have to endure, making it impossible for some to even provide for themselves and their families.

Such is the case in rural Jumba-la-mtwana area, Shimo la tewa ward of Kilifi county in the east African coast of Kenya. This area is mostly populated by people who earn below 2 $/day
As an activist involved in different organizations seeking social justice i can not watch people suffer therefore; My brother and i want to put our energy into ensuring that those most affected within our immediate community have access to the basic minimum needed in order to survive the next months.
Most afflicted have been the elderly, families with little children and pregnant women.
But we can not manifest this goals on our own

Please consider donating to our cause. You can be part of healing our communities as we all work towards keeping everyone safe in this fight against Corona

Our primary goal is to raise funds to support 100 people severely affected by the lockdown resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. This support will be available for a minimum of two months per person
The donations go to a joint account held by my brother and i ( as well wishers our secondary goal is to register a community based organization, due to the lockdown this is a slow process)however: As we have already started giving food to a few families, our priority is to be able to offer the much needed support

Said support includes Dry foods such as Rice, Maize flour,Beans or other cereals, cooking oil, vegetables and fruits, utilities such as Soaps and other toiletries, clean drinking water and medicine.

Other basic needs such as housing support will be provided depending on availability.

By supporting us, you enable
the cultivation of a caring culture amongst neighbors by way of sharing the little we have
Furthermore in making available this resources you prioritize self care, wellness and much needed stress relief during this difficult times.

You can make a difference, every small donation brings us closer to our goal. Anything at all will help and no sum is to small

Let us take care of our communities by ensuring no one is left alone
