Helping a father with a CHRONIC DISEASE reunite with his family.

He is Sammy Tingalen. Bed ridden now for almost 5 months since December 2019. He was diagnosed with a chronic condition, insulin dependent diabetes and Pneumonia. We do not know the other factors that might contribute to his body's sudden change because of this pandemic. It is hard to have a regular check up at this moment we are facing.

Way back, he is a violent husband to his wife and a strict father to his children..

In 2010, he chose to leave his family just to satisfy his personal needs and pleasures. From that moment they are now separated with his wife. Years had past and he realized his mistakes and short-comings to his family. He began to work as a construction worker saved money and planned to reunite with them. Suddenly on 2015, he started feeling unwell but he just ignored it.

2017, a nightmare came upon his life.He began to loss weight approximately ranging to 20 kilos within 2 months. He was not able to stand or walk. He loss his appetite also. He could not breathe well, was also dehydrated. This news reach out his children by the help of a concern neighbor. Gladly, they came. He was rushed to hospital. He was admitted.He was diagnosed with a chronic condition, insulin dependent diabetes Type 1 and Pneumonia. He was dextrose and take medicines but the due to lack of finances, he decided not to continue his hospitalization.

He can at least eat, walk and stand by himself. Knowing the threat of his disease, he still insists on working again bearing the pain and struggles he feel inside his body. He knew that he needs big amount of money for food and medicines that's why he insists to do so. Years passed by and his situation got worse. All of his hard earned money and least resources he have was spent for his maintenance. His children go part ways to work to help in his medication.

Suddenly his family is stuggling from finances too. He is now bed ridden for almost 5 months since December 2019 until now. His situation became worst during the strike of COVID-19.

I am raising fund to cover all the possible expenses for the treatments he will undergo. To buy the right food and medicine he need and get the proper treatment/medication from a specialist and one more thing, I want to help him start his own livelihood for him not to abuse his body again from working as a laborer.

We still do not know the other factors causing this changes in his body because it is hard having a regular check up in time of this pandemic COVID-19.

His last wish is to get well and be reunited with his family to fix what was broken. Hope his realization is not too late. With your kind donations, he can still recover. He can be well and be with his family again at "Home".
