Help Family Recover from Storm

Hello family, friends & fellow community members.
I have set up this page to raise some funds to help my sister, Iris, brother-in-law, Giovani, and their three children recover from the damage to their home from yesterday's storm.
While my sister and her two toddlers were home during the storm , two large cypress trees came down on their house, landing on the roof above the bedroom where their baby daughter was napping.
They, of course, are shaken up, but we are all glad that no one was hurt.
Although their property insurance will cover most structural damage costs incurred, it will not cover any other costs related to this terrifying incident.
They have been displaced from their home until all damages have been assessed, and things are restored, if they can be, back to a safe dwelling. So far, they have been told it will be a month, possibly longer.
Several items were damaged in the incident, including the double stroller that Iris uses for her toddlers to walk their older son to and from school every day, 4 kilometres each way. There were other items in the yard that are no longer usable. The damage to their belongings in the home is not yet assessed, due to safety issues.
I am reaching out to friends, family and community members to help them ease the costs with this displacement. Although I have set a goal amount, we won't know how much this will set them back until their home can safely be assessed.
I am hoping to ease the strain on their family, and hopefully create a happy Christmas and holiday season for them. Thank you in advance for any support you can provide, it is greatly appreciated.
