Evelyn Chumbow, is a labor trafficking survivor, and survivor advocate, with a unique opportunity to share her story and the voice of other survivors of modern day slavery, at this years Peace Forum in France. The Forum is the main conference for the ILO's (International Labour Organization), Alliance 8.7: For a world without forced labour, modern slavery, human trafficking and child labour!

This is an important and amazing opportunity for not only Evelyn, but all of the victims of modern day slavery, whose voices have been silenced or are unable to be heard.

While the ILO is able to help reimburse Evelyn for her personal travel, she is a single mother, who works full time, with a small support group. The cost of full time daycare, as well as additional overnight car, is more than Evelyn can afford. In addition Evelyn will need additional travel funds, and would like to use the opportunity abroad to advocate further. Therefore we are asking for you help to see she can reach this dream...and her child see their mother stand before the international community, as they remain in safe care!

Please help Evelyn raise the needed funds to ensure her child is adequately cared for, so that she can attend this years Peace Forum!

Thank you!
