US$0.00raised of $600.00 goal goal
Hello,
My name is Eugene and I am 28 years old. I currently work fulltime and am attending college for Engineering. I don't have a lot of free time and I currently love to spend it riding my fixied gear bicycle.
At the beginning of 2013 I was 280 pounds and was feeling pretty bad about myself. I decided that it was time for a change and bought a cheap bicycle ($36) and started riding around town. Today (4/12/13) I weight 244 pounds and am going strong with my diet and weightloss.
The reason I am asking for money is for a entry level road bicycle so that I can start riding to work and school. As of right now I live paycheck to paycheck and can not afford to buy a road bicycle. If I had a good entry level road bicycle I could not only save money on gas but also continue my weightloss and fitness program without having to set aside time to ride throughout the week (which can be very challenging). I cannot currently ride my bicycle to work because it has a bad crank (what do you expect for $36 lol) and the hills there are too much for me.
I have picked out a road bicycle that is not only cheaper than most new, but a decent bicycle that I could eventually enter charity rides; which, is something taht is a current goal of mine.
Here is a link to the bicycle. http://www.raleighusa.com/bikes/road/endurance/revenio-1-0-13/
Thank you for the time you took to read this and God Bless. - Eugene
