Campaign Story
Hi, My name is Estir Alexander Granados Salaverry I live in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua. I have just graduated high school with honours and my dream is to become an architect. I have won the BEST STUDENT AWARD for San Juan Del Sur and the SECOND BEST STUDENT AWARD for the Rivas Area.
I have just been accepted into Universidad Nacional De Ingenieria (www.uni.edu.ni) in Managua, Nicaragua. I am super excited but my family is not able to support all the fees and living expenses. I really want to try and find a way to follow my dream and go to this school to become an architect. So I am asking you for your help.
My family is able to pay the school fees of $65/month but not any of the living expenses and supplies so I need to raise money for rent (room), food, transportation and school supplies. My living expenses will be:

I pray that somehow this is possible. I will take on a part-time job at a call center in Managua which will help to pay for some of these fees. I think I will be able to make $200-300 per month.
So I think that if I can raise $300 per month or $3,600 I will have enough to cover all my expenses.
I would be so grateful to be able to raise enough money to cover my shortfall for my first year. I am not sure if I will be able to pursue this dream without the support I hope to find here. I hope to find good people with big hearts. I will update you with all my progress and news along the way in this journey.

Yesterday Estir moved into his new room with the help of his mother and aunt who purchased some food supplies to start. Esperanza and I drove to Managua to meet them there and paid the first month's rent ($120) from our donations. We would like to thank all who have. . . . .

My husband Dennis Marten Pal and I are pleased to support Estir in fulfilling his dream of studying Architecture in Managua. It is a great adventure full of responsibilities and challenges for Estir. As you know, he is not from the capital, he is from San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua.. . . . .

Yesterday we travelled to Managua to look at a room to rent for Estir. The room is small but has a private bathroom, shared kitchen, and living space. It is a short walk to the university and costs $120 per month, including the internet/wifi. Estir joined us on a video
