Help Ernesto “Boy” Navo Battle his Liver Cirrhosis

Tito Boy (Ernesto Navo), 71 years old, a loving father to his children and a dear friend to so many, has recently been diagnosed with Liver Cirrhosis Stage 3. He did not know of his condition until about two weeks ago when he was rushed to the hospital due to intense abdominal pain and extreme weakness.

Stage 3 Liver Cirrhosis is an advanced medical condition that involves the development of swelling in the abdomen and advanced liver scarring. This stage marks decompensated cirrhosis, with serious complications and possible liver failure.

Tito Boy has been in the hospital for 15 days now and is currently confined at Unihealth Paranaque Hospital and Medical Center. He has lost a lot of weight and is still very weak, with his liver presently functioning at less than 30%. Just today, about 8 liters of water was removed from his bloated abdomen. The fluid buildup is one of the complications brought about by his liver cirrhosis.

At the moment, his hospital bill has ballooned and a new deposit is required to continue his medication. His doctor is also looking at a possible liver transplant to assist with his treatment, which will cost around 3 million. Thus, the amount being raised here is for initial assistance only.
