Help Enzo the Fighter

A few days ago I came across Mommy LenLen's post about her fighter son Enzo. Enzo is 7 years old and currently in the NICU of Asian Hospital, he has been there for a couple of days now after being brought to the ER in a semi-coma state due to low oxygen levels, severe pneumonia and asthma.

Enzo Inigo is a special child with Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Visual Impairment, Asthma and hip Dysplasia. He was born premature only at 30 weeks and since the day of his birth Mommy LenLen and husband have devoted much of their time caring for their fighter boy.

The commitment of Mommy to her baby has led the enabling of Enzo to be where he is now at 7 years old. Their lives have transformed immensely incorporating various types of therapies, hospital visits, surgeries and on and off progress for the little boy. She has given the best care possible, extracting value out of their new life and made Enzo their priority. They have planned well-enough and knew that Enzo would need support all through out and so Mommy Len and husband both continue to work to provide for Enzo and the family.

No amount of preparation can ever prepare parents for the emotional roller coaster of having a special child like Enzo. Seizures, daily therapy and of course financial obligations. The financial challenges have been way over what Mommy Len and husband's capacity and to be able to help them ease the burden financially would be a huge comfort that could allow them to focus on what is currently needed to help Enzo daily. As of the moment, the running bill in Asian Hospital is about 1M excluding Doctors' fees and this is still expected to increase as Enzo has yet to be stable. This excludes the outpatient therapy sessions as a sustaining support to maintain Enzo's stability.

As a co-parent, I understand that the lives of our children always come first before us. We become Supermoms that we forget to ask help for ourselves. and so I was hoping to take this opportunity to seek help from your humble hearts as Mommy LenLen is one of the most inspiring and strongest woman I know and to help extend Enzo's life through your financial help will mean the world to their family.
