HELP ENGINEER VIVEK’S FUTURE

Hello. My name is Vivek Chauhan, although I hope most of you already know that.

I am raising money to fund my postgraduate master’s education in the UK. While I’m doing all I can to raise money for this, I just can’t do it without you.

I was 11 years old when my father passed away as a result of clinical depression. This adversely affected my family and our financial condition. It was my fathers dream to send me abroad to study. My fascination with cars prompted me to always want to be an engineer and my father always said he would do his best to enable me to fulfill my dreams. His dying wish was to educate me. My grandparents took up this responsibility and helped fund my bachelor’s education in the UK from their personal savings.

I graduated from Cardiff University in 2018 with a First-Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering and have since worked professionally in my home country. I now have a deep desire to study further in the field of engineering. I wish to pursue a master’s degree in a very reputed UK university which would allow me to seek a job within the UK and eventually settle there which is my ultimate dream, This would enable me to give back to my family including my mother and grandparents and give them a better quality of life.

This means so much to me because I believe that education can change people’s lives, and the sad reality is that not everyone has easy access to quality education. While I can’t change the world, I can make a contribution to give back to people who have supported me throughout my life. But I need your help to get there.

How You Can Help:

In order to make my dream a realty, I need YOUR help. I have raised closed to £8,000 and will raise another £ 3,500 before the end of September. However that will not be enough as I will need almost £ 12,000 so i may be able to cover my tuition and living expenses. I have already applied to my preferred university (Imperial College London) and the course is set to begin in October 2021.
