Help End My Parent’s Debt Troubles

My name is Tim Phillips. I'm currently in the middle of raising funds to help my parents deal with their numerous issues with debt. My dad lost both of his jobs due to failing health in 2007 and this caused my parents to file for bankruptcy. Since then we've had numerous financial issues that seemed to worsen over time. We came very close to losing my dad this year...he currently has a tracheostomy tube in his throat and he needs to use an oxygen machine. Our old house was in terrible condition and we discovered it was full of mold which contributed to his lung issues. We've since moved into a new home and I work with my mom to help pay the rent and the utilities. My dad receives SSI benefits but he uses that money to pay the car payment and to help pay off numerous loans my mom had to get when my dad was in the hospital. They also have numerous medical bills that have gone unpaid for many months. It seems as if my parents haven't had legitimate rest for a very long time and it frustrates me knowing I can't help them pay off their debts and regularly pay the bills at the same time. I'm not sure how to go about this but I would be eternally grateful for any help given to my parents. I won't be comfortable until I know they can live comfortably in their later years.
