Help Emily get to Royal Central School, UK

Hi there! Thank you so much for dropping by my campaign. Let me tell you a little about myself, I am a Sydney based singer and actress with dreams of furthering my career and hitting the professional stage in the West End.  I recently auditioned for the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama to study a Masters in Musical Theatre and was one of only 6 international students selected for the 2014/2015 intake. What a dream come true this is! This one year course would allow my to hone my skills and compete on a professional level, after all this is the school that has produced such talents as Vanessa Redgrave, Judi Dench and Lawrence Olivier. I have an Irish Passport and my wonderful husband is ready to work in London and continue to support my goals. However the tuition fee is to expensive to cover independently and sadly, after much searching, I have discovered that all international performance grants have closed their application window, and many do not assist with tuition fees. I am therefore turning to anyone out there who is keen to foster the arts by supporting a Sydney performer with potential for success. Whether you are a keen philanthropist, owner of a local business or just extremely generous stranger I ask you please to help me get to Royal Central and not miss an opportunity of a lifetime. This would not only be an amazing experience it would also open so many professional doors for me. I have been heavily involved in the amateur theatre scene in Sydney since completing my Bachelor of Theatre and Communications at Notre Dame University. I have starred in lead roles such as Sgt. Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls at the Zenith Theatre, Maria Von Trapp in The Sound of Music at Hornsby RSL, Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar at Riverside Theatre and Melissa in Dead White Males at the Genesian Theatre. I train with vocal teacher Christina Byrne, have completed multiple acting short courses since University and attend Sydney Dance Company open classes. I work full time in Event Management whilst trying to peruse my acting career after hours. The sad truth is that so many Australian performers don't get the chance to fulfil their potential due to a lack of support in the arts industry and a lack of audition opportunities in Sydney's limited art scene. This is an amazing chance for me to hone my craft and give it my best shot on an international stage.
