Help Baby Elisha

Update posted by Jaysa May Tomado On May 02, 2019

❤️ Baby Elisha ❤️

Look at our pretty little preemie.

As what I can see, I think her body can now absorb what is being fed to her. Her feeding was already increased to 28cc. Praise God for that 🙏🏻 Still praying about her infection in her lungs. The parents are now considering to transfer her to BAMC - Adventistmedicalcenter Bacolod but still praying about it because they need to look for a guarantor for it to be realized.

We thank you again for including baby Elisha and the family in your daily prayers. 😘

She is still intubated.

She’s back to feeding

Because of infection, she receives increase dosage of antibiotics now and the medical team continues to check and observe her for possible complications. So far she is better compared to the last update I’ve given. Hopefully that continues.

There is a request to insert a new heplock. And to insert PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter) or a Femural Catheter is also an option. Medical bills are also increasing but amidst the emotional and financial struggles, we thank you for all of your prayers and support. ❤️🙏🏻😍

God bless everyone.

Baby Elisha shows episodes of apnea that is why she was intubated today. She still has above normal WBC count. Please help us continue to pray for her. Thank you. 🙏🏻

Baby Elisha’s stomach started to increase in size again because of infection. Her lungs are also infected now. The doctor is considering to cut/get the umbilical cord (a possible entry of infection). But this has a big risk. Looking for a vein for medication in premature babies is a needle in a haystack.

The Lord is good and worthy to be praised. Baby Elisha doesn’t have jaundice anymore. Her tummy is better now and her weight increased even for just a tiny bit ( yesterday: 715 grams and today: 720 grams). The parernts are just waiting for the results of the blood culture test today.

Blood culture test results from yesterday for baby Elisha says that WBC is still above normal. She’s thinner now but her vital signs are normal.

Today she’s for blood culture test again.
