Help educate a poor child

We are raising funds to nurture the minds of learners and empower them with the tools and knowledge that would help them achieve a proper education

The learners are aged from 5 to 17 and their home environment comprises very poor infrastructure, residing in shacks in informal townships.

This together with the lack of essential educational tools makes learning difficult, and learning problems are either not addressed early enough or not at all.

As a result, learners are further disadvantaged at a secondary level of education and any tertiary education is not even an option to these learners as they struggle to escape from the poverty they face on a daily basis.

Africa is facing an education crisis as millions of children are not enrolled and attending school and many of those children who are receiving an education, is at a disadvantage as the education received is of such poor quality that they are learning very little.

n 2015, only 39% of the eligible population were enrolled in the Early Childhood Development Phase for education in Kenya

Thus, to realize our endeavours, funding is needed for stationery, educational utensils, extra tuition, sporting equipment and extramural activities.

Our main objectives are:

To nurture the young minds of learners and empower them with knowledge that would help them achieve a proper education;

Increase the level of education;

Instill an academic culture to prepare them adequately for further education;

Development of extramural activities;

Preventing learners in their teens from delinquent activities;

Creating a wider spectrum of career opportunity.

Our purpose is to create opportunities for young minds and provide the possibility for a prosperous future allowing the cycle of poverty to stop.
