Hi, my name is David Santos. I'm a graduating student from Pampanga, Philippines, taking up Medical Technology as my pre-med course. I would like to seek your help for financial support for my doctor dad who is in desperate need of a liver transplant. It has always been my dream to be a doctor - just like Dad. I grew up seeing Dad attend to patients every day, no matter what time of day it is. There were times when neighbors would knock on our door at midnight and he would get up to look at their sick baby. I learned that doctors do not have regular working hours; it's a 24/7 commitment. I have seen how many people he's helped: from regular patients to our cousins and relatives to indigenous people who would pay him in camote and papaya because they didn't have money to pay for their bill. He has helped so many people, and that's what inspired me to be a doctor.

Unfortunately, by some strange twist of fate, it is Dad who needs healing now. In June last year, we had to rush him to the hospital after a few days of suffering from high fever, shortness of breath, and physical weakness. At the hospital, we found out that he had liver cirrhosis. Just a week ago, we were back at the hospital - for the third time, and his doctor had grave news for us - he is now suffering from liver failure and the only way to save him is through a liver transplant.

Please help us save our Dad so that he sees me become a doctor just like him, and so by then, I can take care of him as he has taken care of me, my brothers and sister, and a lot of other people.

Any amount will be a great help. Thank you so much!
