Help Dorcas Graduate

My name is Dorcas Matendo, I am 24 years old. I was born in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) but I was raised in South Africa. My family and I moved to South Africa 15 years ago and I currently stay in Cape Town. I come from a family of 5, with me being the second eldest.

I studied Bachelor of Applied social Science at Damelin college, however I have not been able to graduate due to the outstanding fees that i still owe the college. I was fortunate enough that the school had permitted me to write my final exams in 2019 but ever since 2019 I have not been able to raise the money needed to pay off the college.

And unfortunately they have retained my certificate until I complete the outstanding fees. Without the certificate I am unable to apply for internships or even apply for work.

Being from a family of 5, with my mother being the only breadwinner has been very difficult for her as she has not been able to pay off my outstanding fees due to the fact that what she earns is barely enough to take care of the expenses at home. Furthermore, being a refugee in this country has hindered me from applying for bursaries or scholarships, for bursaries and scholarships are only available for the citizens themselves.

Your assistance will be highly appreciated as it will not only help me graduate but also open doors for me in the professional world, in order that I may be able to help my mother financially to lessen the burden that she carries of being the only breadwinner in the family.
