Help Mama Dolores Fight Covid-19

Love is undeniably BLISS – a true statement if we are talking about MOTHERS. I only felt the purest fondness from a mother. Mama Dolor is not my biological mom, she raised us from the time my real mother passed away. She is compassionate and has a reflection of God’s love for us. She is an angel sent to us to guide, care, nurture and love us. Just like you, I am fortunate to experience this precious thing in life - A MOTHER’S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

2020 was a tough year in the history of humanity. The covid-19 virus spread all over the world and is still consistent in affecting lives of different sizes and shapes. I am very disheartened by the fact that this disease is killing innocent souls. Last April 2, 2021, sad to say, it affected my mother who is 78 years of age. Prior to this, she was diagnosed with DIABETES and HYPERTENSION – making her more vulnerable as a host of the virus. Luckily, a medical facility catered to her needs as she has other underlying illnesses and with the current situation of our hospitals, it's really difficult to find a medical facility that will accept you that easily because of the overwhelming number of covid-19 cases.

As of this writing, it is her 4th week in the hospital, and she has undergone procedures to treat her and the other effects of the virus on her body. SHE HAD STOMACH PROBLEMS AND INTERNAL BLEEDING WHICH MAKES HER CASE MUCH MORE COMPLICATED THAN IT IS ALREADY. Thankfully, she is now recovering and is giving us smiles again. She is NOW OUT OF THE ISOLATION UNIT but still on strict monitoring for her diabetes and the other effects of the virus.

Mama Dolor does not have a health card and we are just hoping for a generous Senior discount and Philhealth assistance. With this, I am knocking on your generous hearts as the hospital bills skyrocketed to PHP 1.3M due to the number of tests, procedures, isolation, medications, et al. The amount we will be getting will be used to settle our running hospital bill. Through your donations, I could be able to repay a fraction of the love she has given me throughout the years. I am very grateful as my mom was given another chance to experience how wonderful life is.
