Help Dogs and Cats get spayed/neutered.

There are lots of street dogs and cats that were abandoned everywhere around Thailand. They are especially left in temples which are popular places to get rid of the pets. They are just left behind. Because the pets are unwanted they often get hurt, poisoned, or even killed.

The good solution of this issue is to get them spayed/neutered. This is not going to give them a better life but at least it helps to minimize the street dogs and cats’ population in Thailand. The cost of spaying/neutering in a pet’s hospital is more than THB 2,000 (USD 58) per dog and THB 1,000 (USD 29) per cat.

My name is Kanin Ruchisereekul. I am a Thai Veterinarian, who has been volunteering on many field works with other pet foundations. Please see pictures below:

I know that there are still many places where pets need to get spayed/neutered. Unfortunately, due to the high expenses the people in the area can’t afford to go to a pet hospital. I am passionate about my work and what I am doing. Therefore, I want to do something good which also helps the country and animals. I am travelling around the country to areas in need to provide free services of spaying/neutering and rabies vaccination.

My very first own project will be launched out at a temple in North-East Thailand. I will form a team to spay/neuter over 200 dogs and cats. About 150 belong to the temple and I expect another 50 in the village area. We will go to a temple called Wat Phon Phaen, which is located in Ubon Ratchathani province, about 600 km away from Bangkok. We plan to do the full-time work for 3 days, from 12^th – 14^th June 2017 and the expected cost of this project is THB 200,000 (USD ,800). This budget will be covering the cost as outlined:

• Spaying/Neutering team. There will be 10 – 12 people (4 Veterinarians and the rest are assisting staff)
• Food, transportation, and accommodation of the team
• Spaying/Neutering supplies

Even though we won’t reach the fund’s target we will be realizing the project. We will do as best as we can. In case, we get more funds than we expected the money will be used for future projects. We will update information und pictures once we finished the project. Please visit
