Through our non-profit CheckMySchool program, we have monitored remote schools in North Cotabato province since 2011 and help local communities to persistently monitor, demand actions from, and support public sector leaders & managers to address school issues that seriously affecting our students. Example issues identified so far are:

1. Poor transport access to schools [click link]

2. Lack of textbooks [clik link]

3. Inter-religious conflict [click link]

4. Spread of HIV [click link]

Through diligent monitoring problems, demand for actions, and citizen support of public leaders in the National Government (Department of Education, divisional/regional/national offices) and local leaders (Mayors and their staff), we have had substantial successes in providing the much needed assistance.

But our work is an UNFINISHED MISSION because there are many schools still untouched by the program! There are 192 schools in North Cotabato that are in poor condition

WE ARE FUNDRAISING FOR 30 MOST NEEDY SCHOOLS. With your help we will lessen students' hardship and provide a better learning environment. A total of PHP600,000 (PHP20,000 per school per year) is needed by 30 November 2018. (Emile Gozali is a Trustee of ANSA. All online donations are sent directly to ANSA's account, not personal account).

OFFLINE DONATION can also be made through cash, check, ATM/wire transfer, Phone Load (Pasaload / G Cash), please contact us through the registered e-mail. Your offline donation will be posted in this site.

MORE INFO AND TRACK RECORD. Our project info can be in http://www.checkmyschool.org/?s=. CheckMySchool program has been implemented since 2011 and has helped more than 1,000 schools in the Philippines alone. We are using the Social Accountability (SAc) method which mobilizes communities (parents and concerned citizens) systematically and constructively to support and improve performance of government agencies. SAc method yields LARGER MULTIPLIER EFFECT compared to regular charity because (i) donations to SAc mobilize larger government budgets to badly needed areas, and (ii) citizen involvement improve the way government agencies work for the long run.

PHP 20 - 30,000 spent per school for CheckMySchool had typically drew in budgets for classroom repairs (valued at PHP 0.5 - 2.5 million), running water & toilet repairs (PHP 1.0 million per school), new textbook supplies, and installation of fences & security facility.
