An estimated 10% of the world’s population experiences some form of disability or impairment (WHO Action Plan 2006-2011)..

The number of people with disabilities is increasing due to population growth, ageing, emergence of chronic diseases and medical advances that preserve and prolong life, creating overwhelming demands for health and rehabilitation services. Despite the increase in prevalence of disability worldwide, due to various reasons, not much attention has been paid to its evaluation, management and prevention.

It is for them that, "We" who care for them exist. In society, we work for their betterment, implement a number of programmes & services in the areas of Rights, Social Protection, & earnings for their living with honour, dignity & independence.

Currently we are focusing on local areas in Mumbai and in Central India(Indore, Bhopal & Mhow) where our associated members are holding regular Campaigns & Workshops to teach these special people, a new way to begin their earnings with the help of Art & Crafts.

We stand here to "Give Wings to their Hopes" & the cause has a unique importance to all of us. We believe in giving a smile to the needy. Believe us!!! True sharing gives you the best happiness.

We want that a person may rather be called "a handicapped", than to be called as "a disabled"

It is time to take this cause to the next level. Our colleagues, friends and associates want the same thing we do: a place to help these SPECIAL PEOPLE learn the various forms of work. The better their amenities are, the more it will help them learn. With your help, we will acquire the necessary means to reach these people, teach them to become independent, share, earn,  experiment and evolve.

Our ability to Shelter them and facilitate qualitative work environment in-house are limited by a lack of basic resources an Art & Craft Teaching Institute should have: Drawing boards, Brushes, Colours, Canvas & Craft Material; we need an interactive website that can host all of the content created by these special people, so that their works can be exposed globally to help them earn. 

Here's an Estimation of what we need:

$4500 Painting & craft material for the classes.

$5000 For the rent of acquired space for the classes.

$4000 For the weekly Exhibition of the produced Art-work.

$2,000 new website: design, development, programming and up-keep. 

Donations that come to us through paypal actually transfer immediately. This allows us to actively work and progress as we are raising funds. Contributors will see the fruits of their generosity as we document our progress each step of the way.

WHAT YOU GET 

From your donations, a community of handicapped artists will thrive. Countless artworks will be created, thousands of smiles will cherish and many visions will be brought to fruition. We will also be putting out monthly performances, weekly exhibitions, and up-coming campaigns. In exchange for your donations, aside from greatly impacting the evolution of a community of artists, contributors will be receiving lots of blessings and artworks. Contributing to our campaign is a way to support the needies in a very direct way, by allowing them to assemble in a functional space where newart works can be conceived and produced on a daily basis.
