Dindo Gomez, son of Lowell Addis and Alyn Gomez, has been battling chronic kidney disease since 2006. He is now living on dialysis as the condition has already progressed to severe renal failure. Two weeks ago, he was rushed to the hospital after vomiting blood and complaining of other symptoms, which was later found to be caused by internal bleeding. His hemoglobin level had dropped to 3.1, which is dangerously low. The doctors had to perform 5 nonsurgical procedures to stop the bleeding and manage the other symptoms. Thankfully, he is now stable and recovering at the hospital, eager to continue his dialysis treatment. He is also currently on a transplant waiting list, so we're hoping that he remains strong until we find a suitable donor.
Right now, Dindo's family is in dire need of financial assistance. The hospital has charged an estimate of 1.2 million pesos for the admission fee and charges for renal services and special procedures.
To our relatives and friends, we would like to ask for your support and prayers to raise the funds to cover Dindo's medical bills. His six-year fight against CKD has led the Gomez family to exhaust all their sources of funds.
Any amount will be very much appreciated. You can also help us spread the word by sharing this page on social media or whispering a prayer for Dindo and his family. We appreciate you taking the time to read this. May God bless us all.
