Hello Good People,

Our friend Dilan is a young mother with a child who is just a year old struggling with Acute Lymphoblastic/Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) or known as blood cancer and is undergoing various treatments at Santosa Hospital, Bandung. Including frequent chemotherapy requires a very large cost. Furthermore, Dilan needs to get spinal cord transplantation or cartisel treatment immediately in Singapore or Malaysia. We as friends of Dilan try to help as much as possible to raise funds for the recovery of Dilan and so that she can lead a normal life again with her child and husband.

Let me introduce myself first. My name is Giri from Bandung, Indonesia. I represent friends from Pradnya (DIlan's husband) and Dilan his wife to make this fundraising page. I tried to explain chronologically the condition of Dilan until she's diagnosed with cancer.

Dilan is a 26-year-old young mother who gave birth to her first child named Dika in June 2018. When Pradnya and Dilan just started to enjoy the happy period of being new parents, Dilan's condition suddenly declined. Dilan suddenly becomes weak and has high fever. After undergoing an examination at the hospital in Bandung, Hemoglobin Dilan in number 3 and the initial diagnosis of the cause was Hemolysis due to new childbirth.

After some time, Dilan's condition went up and down and was checked many times to several specialists in Bandung, the diagnosis remained the same (Hemolysis). Because Dilan's condition hasn't improved, finally in March 2019 then he left for Dharmais in Jakarta and Dilan's spinal fluid samples were taken. It turned out that after being examined, the Dilan Leukocytes had dropped dramatically and he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) or also known as blood cancer.

Around mid-May, Dilan's condition was declining after the 3rd chemotherapy at Santosa Hospital, Bandung. The drug is replaced by a more expensive one and is not covered by insurance, and an IV is inserted in both hands so that the condition recovers quickly and the leukocytes increase (the current leukocyte count drops to 0.5). Costs that have been spent for 2 weeks inpatient care and several days in the ICU have swelled to 120 million Rupiahs.

At this moment Dilan's liver is weakening due to continuous chemotherapy. The doctor advised not to continue her chemotherapy and recommend to continue the treatment to Singapore or Malaysia for better medical facility and treatment. Follow-up treatment options include CAR T Cell therapy or spinal cord transplantation. The cost of treatment will increase many times and doctors estimate the cost of those treatment is at least 2-3 billion Rupiahs (140.000 - 210.000 USD) in Singapore and Malaysia

Presently, Pradnya (husband of Dilan) and his family had spent a lot of money selling various assets for Dilan's treatment because they needed a fee so that Dilan could still undergo cancer treatment. One hope for continuing treatment to Singapore or Malaysia as soon as possible is to raise funds.

We ask for help as soon as possible from our friends so that we can help Dilan return to health and regroup with her husband and children who are a year old by giving aid funds to Dilan, prayer, and sharing this link.

The funds raised will be used for Dilan treatment, the cost of hospitalization, and other related costs for months to come.

Thank you for your kindness
