Help Dex the puppy get new hips

We have an 8 month old Golden Labrador called Dex who we recently discovered has severe hip dysplacia and needs hip replacements on both hips. He is currently strugling to walk and continually falls over. He is also having to take daily painkillers and anti-inflammatory tablets. This opertaion is going to cost £8000 and we do have insurance but they will pay £2000 only as they class this as a 'bi-lateral condition' meaning they only pay towards one side. Dex is our family dog and it would break our hearts if he lost the use of his legs, it is already horrible to see him fall when he gets a litte playful and not able to run for such a young dog. He has an amazing personality and is the kindest natured dog. He deserves to have a normal life and be a regular care free puppy rather than being in constant pain and not able to play and run the way that is natural. We are exhausting every route possible and are trying our best to raise anything. Every little helps and as we need to fund £6000 for the operation anything we can get will be a massive help towards an extremely worthy cause. Thank you for reading our story.
