Help Denise & Peter Szalaiko Recover From Terrible Fire

Believing that there is strength in numbers, and that the cats living in Bath Beach and Bensonhurst deserve the attention that only a local group can provide, Denise and Peter Szalaiko founded Ferals in Peril, Inc. They have helped countless cats over the years and are true heroes.

Last night (1/10/2017), an unthinkable tragedy struck. A fire broke out in their apartment. Fortunately, Denise and Peter survived the fire.

22 of their rescued cats died in the fire.

The Szalaikos are grief-stricken and, currently, without a home. Please help Brooklyn Animal Action to raise funds to get them back on their feet, though this unbelievable tragedy will not soon be forgotten.
