Wake up Darrell

This fundraising page is for our Dad, Darrell Morales ❤

Both of our parents were involved in a very serious car accident on Saturday 24th February.

They were both flown by air ambulances to separate hospitals.

Thankfully, apart from lots of broken bones and some serious breaks, our Mum Dawn is on her long road to recovery. She currently can't walk, or feed herself. But we are hoping this won't be for long!

Unfortunately our Dad, Darrell is in a critical condition. He has suffered a severe head injury, which had to be operated on as soon as he arrived at hospital.

After being driven up to the hospital by the police, we were told to prepare for the worst as they didn't know whether he would make it through the surgery or not. Amazingly he did pull through the surgery, and although our Dad is now breathing on his own, he still remains in a coma.

Myself and my sister Lauren are currently having to split ourselves between the two different hospital's that our parents are in, as well as trying to look after our son's who are 2 & 3 (and also our bumps as we both have baby's on the way !).

Being self employed myself, this has taken a huge hit on our income as you can imagine, as well as trying to find extra childcare. Our Mum will not be able to work for a long time too.

We are reaching out to everyone to ask if you would be able to help in any way at all for treatment to help our Dad wake up and recover, even if it’s just a small amount, we would be so so grateful.This money will help towards the treatment and care which he will need on the long road ahead.

We have been in contact with a professor who specialises in accupuncture for coma patient's and head injury. The sooner he can start working on my Dad the more he will be able to help. The first four weeks are crucial to my Dad's long term condition and recovery.
