Help Deke Get His Urgent Surgery

Deke had back surgery in 2016 due to a fall he had in the Jacksonville, FL that compressed his spine. Metal rods and screws had been placed to correct it. This year, he slipped and fell on his butt. Ever since he's been in pain. In time the pain grew and grew. Any pain killers that the clinics gave don't work anymore.

So as of the October 21, 2018 he is admitted. Doctors are giving him all sorts of strong pain killers and also on constant morphine drips. MRI was done. It seems that due to the fall, one of the screws has fallen and created a moat type well surrounding the bone which in time made all the other screws fall and now all the screws is borrowing into his nerve. Doctors strongly advised for reconstructive surgery replacing all the crews and rod or he'll get paralyzed for good maybe even death.

The hospital has since discharged him because they can't let him stay in the hospital while waiting for $$ but the doctors strongly suggest that he is on bed rest but insist that he get the funds for this surgery urgently. He's still in a lot of pain which hurts the wife and is making his disabled daughter confused as to why her daddy can't spend much time with her anymore.

He can't afford the cost of the rod, screws, hospital stay, rehab afterwards much less pay for surgical fees . We've tried reaching out everywhere i can think of for help but all the answers are negative. He is the sole provider. His wife is so worried and sad about his health. More over, we don't know how our disabled child will cope without him. They have been inseparable. The only father she ever know.
