Help Deb to walk again

My wife lost her left leg this past January, due to a bone infection.The infection spread to right leg and she had to stay in hospital for 3 months receiving IV antibiotics.The antibiotics were so strong that she lost most of her hair.It was not until June that she was fitted for her temporary prosthetic; she had to relearn to walk.By October, she was walking without a cane.One week before the final fitting for her permanent leg, she fell and broke her left hip.Again she had surgery for a hip replacement, discharged from the hospital, then two weeks later she fell again, breaking left femur and shoving shaft of hip replacement 1 inch into her femur.After this surgery, she was told that she could not put any weight on her left leg for at least 3 months and possibly for 6 months.Currently all she talks about is that she was so close and then this happened.

The health insurance that she had will be stopping coverage for her at the end of Dec.We have barrowed so much money during this past year that all of our credit is maxed out.And we cannot afford to buy another policy.She does not qualify for Medicaid because we make too much money.And using the Affordable Act offers only a tax credit but we would need to have an income to get a tax credit.(I have ALS and unable to work because a loss of muscle mass) Once the doctor okay’s her to walk again, she will need a new prosthetic, her stump has shrunk so much that she cannot use older version.

The money would be applied to the cost of the prosthetic, Physical Therapy, addition doctor visits.
