Help David with his monocular blindness during COVID19

Like many of you, we've watched on in horror as the COVID-19 pandemic has taken hold in our community. Blind and partially sighted people are much more likely to be adversely affected by measures introduced by the authorities to reduce the spread of Coronavirus.

This is the case of David. Due to a car accident, he had an injury to his left eye that has resulted in monocular blindness.

Due to the pandemic, medical treatments in his city have been suspended. David is awaiting intraocular implant surgery and the placement of a cosmetic prosthesis.

David is currently unemployed, and this delay in his medical treatment places him in a position of economic and social vulnerability.
