US$60.00raised of $950.00 goal goal
Darren's campaign has been set up in order to raise funds for his upcoming baseball tour to Johannesburg, where he will represent South Africa in the 2020 Olympic qualifiers.
Having missed out on two u23 trips to the Baseball u23 World Cup due to completing his studies, and now having completed his degree, he sets his sights on the Olympic qualifiers taking place in late April next month. Darren has represented Western Province for some time now and has previously been selected for two u23 national tours. Due to the timing of this trip in relation to the recent domestic championship, there is simple not enough time to raise enough funds through traditional fund raising and sponsorships. The trip will take place in a month and we aim to raise $1400 in order to cover flights, accommodation as well as all uniforms and equipment needed which make up the bulk of the funds required as it is his first senior national selection.
Any donations, no matter the amount, will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way to making the trip a possibility and a success. Donations can be made via the gogetfunding campaign or via direct transfer. To get hold of Darren please email him directly at [email protected] or message him on Facebook (Darren Boltman) im sure he'd love to hear from you.
Once again I would just like to thank everyone in advance for any donations. This trip means the world to him and any support will be met with equal amounts of appreciation. I will post updates and progress of efforts to raise these funds and thank you again in advance.
