Help Dan Crush Cancer

At 30 years old, Dan was living his dream working as an indoor skydiving instructor at iFly Virginia Beach, competing in wind tunnel flying, skydiving, spending time with his friends, and enjoying beach living.

Dan’s life went into a free fall in August 2016, when he was diagnosed with stage 3 non-seminoma testicular cancer that has spread heavily into his lungs and lymph nodes in his abdomen. ?Within the month of diagnosis, he has undergone surgery, numerous doctors’ appointments, laboratory testing, multiple CT scans, an emergency room visit, all while stacks of bills continue to pile up.

Dan's aggressive treatment with chemotherapy will begin in early September. Dan’s full time job for the next 6 months will be to fight the cancer that has invaded his body so he can reclaim his life. Dan will be required to spend Monday through Friday for 5-6 hours per day receiving chemotherapy beginning in early September, followed by three weeks off from chemo to allow his body to recover from the treatment before another cycle begins. This cycle of treatment will continue until about late December 2016. ?Once the treatment is completed, he will be reassessed to see if further chemotherapy treatment or surgeries will be needed to cure him from his cancer.
