HELP CYPRUS-BASED WILLIAM’S DOG SHELTER COVER THEIR MONTHLY FOOD EXPENSES

We are a group of volunteers trying to help Williams Dog Shelter (Pareklisia Village, Cyprus) to raise funds to feed 200 dogs they currently have in their care. Williams Dog Shelter is a private rescue center, organized by Robert Majer, Slovak national living in Cyprus. The shelter does not get any help from the government and 100% relies on people’s donations.

The shelter needs 90 kg of dry food every day to feed 200 mouths. Each 20kg bag costs €29, so the shelter needs €130.5 a day or €4,045 per month to cover its food expenses.

Having 200 dogs at the shelter, we cannot provide each of them with enough hugs and attention, not even with a walk every day. But food is not something we can neglect or push to the side.

These dogs must be very well-fed every day while in our care. These 200 animals are precious to us, and we cannot let them down. Most of them have been suffering enough due to the disgraceful behavior of some humans, many arrive here sick, starved and emaciated. Seeing dogs in such condition breaks our hearts. We don’t want them to starve and suffer ever again!

A high-quality diet is essential for keeping our dog happy and healthy. We feed most of our residents a regular diet of the same DRY food brand to keep them healthy - changing food can upset their stomachs.

Please help us achieve our goal as these dogs truly have no one else to turn to. We highly appreciate monthly donations if you can do so. This will allow us to feel more secure and plan our budget as we have so many other financial needs to cover.

This fundraising campaign has been running since the end of March 2022 and the total amount that you see on this fundraising page has been raised since the day the campaign started.
