Help Cyclone Gaja Victims URGENTLY

Raise Relief Fund for Cyclone Gaja Victims. Cyclone Gaja affected many villages and rural areas in Tamil Nadu, India. We will be sending the raised money to the local charity and if we exceed the requested amount, we aim to send a volunteer to the affected areas to directly distribute the items. All items bought using your donations and distributions will be will be posted on FB Page so you can get the update. Items required are blankets, clothings, water bottles, milk products, temporary tents, baby supplies, food and vegetables, sanitary napkins, medical kits, maisonry etc

As of now, 45 people have lost their lives and nearly 1000 livestock were killed, and still counting. Nearly 100,000 village huts and odd houses were damaged. More than 200,000 people have been evacuated and sheltered in 493 relief camps. This apart, 372 medical camps and 1014 mobile medical camps have been established to attend to the injured and sick.

More than 170,000 trees were uprooted in the seven districts affected by cyclone beside damage of electric wires which have disrupted power supply.
