All 65 animals that were confiscated at the 27th of March are slowly adapting and settling in to their new ‘’home’’. We were pretty concerned about quite a few, since they were so stressed, in poor body condition and some didn’t wan to eat in the first days. Happily things are getting better and slowly they become stronger and more active every day. All the new animals are still housed in our quarantine buildings, and they will stay here till disease test result are negative and their health is stable.

With the GoFundMe campaign we have raised 42% of our goal 2800 Euro. We are not there yet, more funding is still needed to continue our work to care for the ~500 wild animals in the center, and get us through this coronavirus crisis time. But we are slowly getting there. We want thank everyone who donated to us, we really appreciate and thank you for your support as we are in a critical situation to care for all the animals at Cikananga. Many, many thanks!

I have done my volunteer, intern, and Masters research here. I know they are good honest people, who work hard to save Indonesian wildlife and to combat wildlife trade. Every donation will certainly helps.
