My name is Christian and I attend my last year at Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten.

As a low-income student from Croatia it has been a privilege and opportunity of a lifetime for me to study at this institution.

However, this will not be possible without a lot of sacrifice of my family who, with all the effort and desire, will not be able to cover all of the expenses. While they doing everything they can to scrimp and save, there is not extra money available at the end of each month to provide me a carefree education and opportunity like this. I am receiving some financial-aid through my school, but it is not able to cover all of the expenses for this trip. I am saving up all of my summer earnings, but it is still not enough.
