Help Chocobo Live! Rescue Dog Ran Over by Car

Chocobo (Chocolate Brownie) was an aspin living near the vicinity of Westlake Medical Center in San Pedro, Laguna. She was often seen being fed by the ER personnel or getting scraps from the Jollibee nearby. Although Chocobo was a stray, she provided comfort and relief to the stressed frontliners and visitors of Westlake hospital with her kindness and happy disposition.

On August 26, 2021, Chocobo was ran over by a car that was backing out from the Jollibee she often stayed at. She was hit hard from waist down and could barely move. The hospital security guard took pity on her and asked my mother and aunt if they could find help the poor dog. My mother and aunt were regular visitors of the hospital because we have an uncle in the ICU there. Of course, my relatives agreed to take Chocobo home and give her care until we can find a way to give her the medical attention that she needs.

This is why we are starting this fundraising campaign for the sake of Chocobo's wellbeing. As vet fees are extremely expensive in the Philippines, we are asking help from the animal loving community here to help us raise the needed money for possible assessments, surgeries, and other treatments that Chocobo may need.

We are currently stabilizing her at our home in Sta.Rosa, Laguna by providing food, shelter, warmth, and comfort but this is not enough, she definitely needs professional help as we fear she may suffer from internal bleeding or even organ trauma. Since she is also in a delicate condition, we would rather not move her until we are sure she is stronger, that is why we plan on taking her to the vet next Saturday.

We want to make sure that we have enough money for her initial check up and emergency procedures which we assume will take 20,000 php due to how extensive her injuries are.
