Campaign Story
We are The Atomic Otters, a sport community from Romania, and our goal in June is to support access to education for 4 children from Razboieni, county Neamt, Romania, by raising 1200 EUROs which will be used to purchase 4 laptops.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the school lessons take place online, but not all the families have electronic devices to support this change. The situation is very difficult for families with low income, large families.
The 4 children that we want to help come from large families which do not have a stable income. The parents cannot afford to buy a laptop/tablet for them. One of the families has six children, 3 out of are attending school and connect to school with only one mobile. It is very difficult for the children to pay attention, sometimes they skip some classes, to let one of their brother to connect to his lesson.
With this acquisition, we will make sure that starting September they will be prepared for on-line lessons and further more they will develop their digital skills.
By your donation, you are supporting one of the fundamental rights- the access to education for these children. In return for your donation, our athletes will run/hike and ride 4000 Km in June.

We were so close to reach our goal, but we are happy with this result taken into. . . . .
