Children Of Jannah has approved it's FIRST Canadian chapter right here in Windsor, Ontario.
Children of Jannah is the only charity founded to exclusively support grieving Muslim parents and families following the devastation of the death of a child or baby, whether through illness, miscarriage or stillbirth, helping them move from pain to peace and strengthening their bridge to Jannah. Currently, it is based out of the UK where the founder, Hafiza Ismail first opened it in May 2011. Since then, the charity has flourished and has open chapters in Nigeria, Australia, and now Canada.
Children of Jannah - Windsor Chapter's first goal is to provide Bereavement Packs that would be given to parents (or anyone for that matter) who has lost a child or a loved one. This would include information, books, and resources particular to the unique needs of a grieving Muslim parent.
We are looking to fundraise to purchase promotional materials to raise awareness, and to purchase our first small shipment of Bereavement Packs.

Our wealth will not decrease if we give in charity Allah promised to replace everything that we give in charity, and Allah is true to His promise: Say: "Verily my Lord enlarges and restricts the Sustenance to such of His servants as He pleases: and nothing do ye spend in the least (in His Cause) but He replaces it: for He is the Best of those who grant Sustenance." Sa Ba 34:39 Prophet Muhammad ( PBUH ) emphasized this concept : Abu Hurrairah (may Allah be pleased with him) related that Allah%92%92s messenger (PBUH) said : "No money ever decreases because of charity; when a servant of Allah forgives, Allah increases him in dignity;and whenever a person humbles himself to Allah, Allah will elevate his status" Narrated by Bukhari & Muslim.
