Hello! My name is Juno Fullerton, and I am a junior at Palisades Charter High School. I have been a teacher for four years, three of which have been maintaining a steady job at my local YMCA as a swim teacher, and one as a madrachim (assistant teacher) at my Temple. This summer, it is my incredible pleasure and honor to have been selected as one of few volunteers (mostly adults) for an orphanage in Uganda headed by the organization Children of Uganda (http://www.uccf.org/). The experiences I have had with the organization in the past have been remarkable. Last January, I organized a group of twenty students from the orphanage to come to my high school on their "Tour of Light" (a journey that the organization took to various high schools around the United States to raise money for the program). This visit made the front page of the town's newspaper. (http://www.palisadespost.com/content/index.cfm?Story_ID=7237). Unfortunately, at the time my family cannot afford the cost of the trip. I would be incredibly greatful for any kind of donation you can give, whether it is five dollars, or more. This donation will not only support my dream, but will contribute to the care and teaching of these orphans that came in to the world with so little. Every day of this trip, I will be keeping a diary, and taking pictures everywhere I go. When I return, I will create a website to share my memories with you, so that you can know what a great affect your generosity has had. Thank you so much for your time!
