Help Chikay Fight Cervical Cancer

Our friend Chikay Jamorabon has been battling Stage 2B Cervical Cancer since August of last year. However, after six chemotherapy sessions, 29 sessions of external radiation, and four sessions of brachytherapy, Chikay’s tumor only responded very modestly.

Last February, she underwent exploratory laparotomy, hoping to remove the tumor from her cervix and the lymph nodes that surround it. However, after 12 hours in the operating room, the tumor was found to be unresectable.

Because of this, Chikay will undergo another round of chemotherapy, much more aggressive this time and with higher doses of medicines. We are praying that this tumor will finally shrink and become operable.

Chemotherapy and the other medications that go with it, plus the piling hospital bills and professional fees, are brutally expensive. But we are determined to fight this, to help Chikay fight this. And we humbly ask for your financial assistance to help Chikay with her cancer treatment.
