Campaign Story
Please help support Cheryl in her efforts to overcome the challenges she will face in her journey to healing. Cheryl has been under the employ of The Maids since the very day we opened in February 2008 and was on her way to work at on Friday November 25th, 2016 at 6:35 a.m. when she was struck by car. She was taken to the Sunnybrook Trauma Unit where she underwent surgery to remove part of her skull to alleviate the pressure and help control the bleeding. She also suffered a punctured lung and several broken ribs. Cheryl spent the weekend in an induced coma and is being treated by a team that specializes in such cases. Cheryl has the full support of her husband Tom of 35 years, her 2 sons Dan and Edward and her daughter Angela and grandson Clark. At this stage, her prognosis is unknown but what we do know is that she will face a long road ahead. Her family will need to bear the burden of increased costs associated with her rehabilitation.
I hope that you find it in your heart to be generous in helping our coordinated effort towards Cheryl's full recovery and ease any suffering that she may now and in the future encounter. We and the Hill family will forever be grateful for your help and generosity. Please share this message with those who may know Cheryl and her family and say a little prayer.
