Campaign Story
Hello world my name is Clista & this is my best friend Charlie.
He was a rescue puppy when I got him, that has been a part of my life for 8 years now. About 4 days ago while I was at work, Charlie got out through the fence & was hit by a car that refused to stop. Shortly after the accident, I received a call that he was not able to walk. We immediately rushed him to the hospital. After several visits & him not be able to walk, eat or use the restroom; it was determined that surgery was needed in both, his back & legs for him to walk again. To some people a dog is just a pet but to me he is my son.
I would LOVE LOVE nothing more for Christmas than for him to just able to walk again & live the life he deserves again. Unfortunately the cost of the surgery is going to be at least $7500 to fix both legs, that is not even including the therapy that is required.
We appreciate ANY help that we can possibly get for him to get back on his feet happy, healthy and well again.
