Help Charleston againts his fight with TB Meningitis!! Help him take a shot at life for the second time and watch his kids grow!

Our family is yet again facing a new challenge. My husband, Charleston Bibit, 36 years old and a loving father to two wonderful kids (age 8 and 10), is currently fighting TB Meningitis at The Doctor's Hospital Bacolod Philippines

He has been through a lot in his life and has been so brave in facing them. He always meet these challenges head on. He was diagnosed with Nasopharengeal cancer last April 2016 and with full determination, he fought it and underwent chemo radiation therapy where he was able to complete his treatment August of the same year. While recuperating last January 2017, he again was blessed by our God Almighty and was able to surpass his appendectomy procedure.

As he felt fit and well, he went back to work to help support our family. He was able to help provide our family's needs. yet again another challenge was thrown at us. He went to work the night of july 31, 2018 and came home feverish. At 10am of Aug 1st, he was already on delirium. I decided to rush him to the hospital as he is already disoriented and does not seem to know what to do or feel. I can barely talk or get a response from him. I was nervous and though worse things may happen but I have to keep strong and positive.

He was diagnosed with pneumonia and despite the medications taken and the clear laboratory tests, he continues to complain the constant excruciating headache. We were referred to a neurologist who decided to do a lumbar tap procedure where water from his brain was tested to rule out the possibility of infection. I was then advised the following day that the laboratory test results has shown consistency of a tuberculosis virus causing him headaches and thus the diagnosis of TB Meningitis.

It pains us to see him helpless as he is now, unable to even eat by himself or move like he once does. He is on NGT right now to help him with his nourishment and medication as he is asleep most of time.

Currently, our hospital bills is beyond what we can afford and is still going up every day that we spend in the hospital. The bill has gone up to 145,000 php and it keeps on increasing by 25,000php daily for his medicines and other hospital expenses.

I humble myself and knock on your kind and helpful hearts to help us fight this. By raising a substantial amount to pay for his medical expenses, we could continue his medication. His hospital bill is already beyond what I can pay being the breadwinner of the family. Any amount will be greatly appreciated by our family. Most of all, Charles will be happy to see his kids grow.

Please help Charles and our family take the chance to regain his strength and live normally for our kids. We will be forever grateful for whatever help and prayers for Charles. God bless you and your kind hearts.
