Hi,
we’re Kylie and Asti Vergara.We’re 7
th graders
and we volunteer at the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
PAWS
helps animal rescuers by providing low-cost or free veterinary treatment for
stray cats (and dogs). More importantly, PAWS’ main mission is to prevent
animals from needing to be rescued by educating people about spaying and
neutering, and the direct connection of these procedures to preventing pet
homelessness.
Please help us raise PhP 150,000 ($3,000) or more. The
proceeds will be used by PAWS to stock up on Zoletil – the medicine needed for
spaying and neutering procedures so PAWS can continue to provide this service
for rescued cats or owners who cannot afford it from private vets. We will also
use some of the money to help PAWS purchase quarantine cages.
Due to transaction fees, we welcome amounts from PhP50 or $1 and up through this funding site. For donations of PhP 5,000 ($100) or more, PAWS will issue you a Certificate of Appreciation. This site accepts Paypal to Paypal, or credit card to Paypal donations. Please message me for information on bank or offline donations.
